The main function of the rear shock absorbers is identical to that of other vehicle shock absorbers. They restrict or sway the total movement of the vehicle's body, so that as the vehicle moves up and down or side by side depending on the type of road on which it is on, they maintain a balance in response.
How rear shocks works?
The rear shock absorbers operate in a coordinated way when the vehicle hits a bump the lower eye travels upwards. This allows the fluid to pass to its upper side from the lower side of valve A. This results in pressure being exerted on valve B as the space volume above valve A is less than the rod G volume. This produces the damping force, now that the lower eye E goes down, the fluid transfers from the upper side of the valve A to the lower side and also from the lower side of the valve B to the upper side. As per the vehicle supplier, it is extremely necessary that the absorber fluid is filled periodically to maintain the required amount.
