      The Wagner® ThermoQuiet® Semi-Metallic are quieter, “one-piece” brake pads and feature friction material, backing plate and insulator combined into a single high strength component by an Integrally Molded Sound Insulator (IMI™). The unique application specific laser shaped friction optimizes the pad to rotor interface.

                  Pretty decent deal compared to what I'd pay at local stores. Had to file down one of the pads to get it to fit properly. Not sure if these are any better than the no-frills ones. Guess I'll find out with time.

                              I've got these pads on my Chrysler Town & Country and Honda Accord. They're a breeze to install—no need for shims or chemicals to keep them quiet. They also save me some cash on maintenance since I can fit them myself without a hitch. I can swap out the brake pads every 18-24 months without worrying about rotor damage.
