Good bearing, but needed more lube
B STANESCUReviewed in REVELSTOKE, BC on August 1, 2024

Giving it 3 stars because it looked a bit dry inside. I cleared out the waxy grease and used Redline CV2 synthetic grease instead. Now it's smooth sailing in my Boxster. It's a bit of a hassle to service a new bearing, but it was worth it for the peace of mind.

Perfect!
C VaillancourtReviewed in IQALUIT, NU on August 1, 2024
It arrived on schedule, with impeccable shipping and the product is flawless. I thought about getting a cheaper brand bearing, but since it's for holding up my rear axle, I decided to go with Timken. No regrets at all!!!

TIMKEN: The Ultimate in Bearings
StompReviewed in INDIAN RIVER, ON on July 12, 2024
Quality part, and I'm expecting it to last a long time. Installed on a 1993 Saab C900. The old bearing was so wrecked the wheel was wobbling. No scary noise, but it caused the brake disc to wobble too, pushing the brake pads and caliper with every rotation, making a loud squeak. Tip: Remove the steering knuckle and have a shop press out the old one—they might need a good soak in penetrating lube and a 20-ton press.
Yes, I recommend this product.
Fit BMW Z4 and Works Great!

After my 2007 BMW Z4 coupe hit a crater of a pothole, it started making a racket on the road. Turns out, a wheel bearing was shot. Did my homework on repair shops and online, and decided to DIY this fix. Slotted in this new bearing, and my ride's back to being smooth and silent. A quality replacement part, indeed!

Better than the Original
Robert D.Reviewed in MANITOUWADGE, ON on May 28, 2024
The Timken wheel bearing fit like a glove and is even better quality than the original one. It's priced a bit higher but still competes well with the original part price-wise.
Yes, I recommend this product.

This is a quality part, as Timken is known for their good bearings. However, installing this job is not for beginners.
