The good stuff: it's well-made, incredibly bright for its weight, and it's a steal for around $28 CAD—buy a few! Plus, it's so compact, carrying it daily is no sweat. The CREE LED should last for ages. The not-so-great: the constant-on button is a bit stubborn, and everyone seems to want to swipe mine. To be fair, I've only had this flashlight for a week, so I'm not the ultimate judge of its durability just yet. But from what I've gathered from other reviews and the feel of it, this little light could probably endure a military tour or two. It's light—under 85 grams—but feels solid. It's supposedly o-ring sealed, so it's water-resistant and tough. I'm not planning to chuck it at any sidewalks, but it seems like it would shrug that off. What I do know for sure is that I adore this light. It's become my trusty sidekick for those late nights when I get home and need to see where I'm going. It's light enough to slip into my pocket without a second thought and doesn't get in the way. Unless you're squeezing into super skinny jeans, you should have no trouble carrying this around—if you do, just clip it on your pants. No excuses. The brightness surprised me too. It says 65 lumens, and Streamlight isn't bluffing—it's bright for its size. It's not going to outshine your home lighting, but it's not meant to. It's perfect for what it's designed for. The power button is tricky to click on and stay on, which is the only real downside I've noticed. It's designed to be easy to press for a quick light burst but harder to keep on, which is by design. Some folks might not love that, especially if they have trouble with hand dexterity. But if you can open a pickle jar, you should be fine. Overall, I'm thrilled with this buy. It's my first Streamlight product, but it won't be my last. I've been telling everyone about how awesome this light is. It's an incredible value for something you'll use daily. It outshines anything you'd find on a Wal-Mart rack for $21-28 CAD. Just get one, and you'll only need a replacement if it gets lost.
