      • Black MAX Shock Absorber; w/Black Boot; 24.84 in. Extended; 14.82 in. Collapsed;
      • Black MAX twin tube shock absorbers have increased fluid capacity and utilize foam-cell technology. When the shock is working hard and gets hot, the foam-cell insert compresses to compensate for oil expansion which maintains consistent MAX performance throughout the operating temperature range of the shock. The foam-cell design also eliminates air inside the shock which allows for mounting in any direction. Arc-welded end mounts and select specific valving give this shock absorber MAX value.

                      I've noticed some reviews mentioning fitment issues. It's a stellar product, but make sure to order using the part number confirmed on the manufacturer's website before coming back here to grab the right shock. The website lists part numbers for both standard and lifted suspensions. Installed on a 1996 F150, it fits as it should. The steel bushing included is for the lower mount and isn't needed for the upper.
