SKF Output Shaft Seals are available for the input and output shafts of all types of drive-line units, including transmissions, transfer cases, rear drive modules, power transfer units and hybrid and e-drive units. To avoid leakage and contamination, retaining fluids within the system and excluding external contaminants are essential. Exclusive features like radial and axial dirt lips and felt exclusion rings are available. Conventional shaft seals with a garter spring, seals with a low friction elastomer sealing lip, and PTFE sealing lips are sealing designs, subject to application and operating conditions, are offered by SKF. Cassette designs are also there to cope with high levels of contamination. Extra design features are incorporated to allow perfect functioning under significant shaft run-out and misalignment and integrated modular solutions.
