What This Warranty Covers

Brake Parts Inc. (BPI) warrants all Raybestos Brand Brake Products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship, from date of purchase by the original verified purchaser from an authorized installer or retailer. If the Raybestos Brand Brake Product is found to be defective in material or workmanship, BPI will replace the defective product with another Raybestos Brand Brake Product. This warranty is not transferable. New car and equipment warranties remain in effect when Raybestos Brand Brake Products are used. The Raybestos Brand Brake Products warranty does not cover any loss due to misuse, alteration, accident, abuse, neglect, normal wear or improper installation of the products. This warranty only applies to Raybestos Brand Brake Products installed on passenger cars, vans, and light trucks. It does not apply to products installed on vehicles or equipment used for the following: towing, racing, public service, security, government, off-highway recreational, off-highway competition, off-highway equipment, fleet or commercial purposes, or if used in any aircraft/aviation, marine, agriculture or industrial applications. The warranty does not cover any loss or liability for incidental or consequential damages that may be caused by a breach of this written warranty. No other warranty, express or implied, shall exist.

Professional Grade Hub Bearings are covered under a one-year unlimited mileage material or workmanship guarantee. Replacement Guidelines

In order to obtain vehicle or equipment repairs under this warranty, the customer must, within 30 days after discovery of the damage, submit a claim to any BPI representative, a BPI distributor. The customer must also allow the BPI Warranty and Technical Service Department to examine the Raybestos Brand Brake product and, if required, the vehicle or equipment, to determine the extent of damage and whether it was caused by a defective Raybestos Brand Brake product. Products must be returned in their original, unmodified condition to the BPI Warranty and Technical Service Department for examination.

BPI will replace any Raybestos Brand Brake Product found not to conform to this warranty with a replacement provided that the customer follows this warranty filing procedure:

• The Distribution Center will complete a claim form (WFR11995) and assign an RGN number.
• Be very specific about the incident and the reason for filing the claim. The more information that is provided will expedite the processing of the claim. Submit all pertinent paperwork, including copies of the original purchase receipt, repair orders, pictures (if applicable) and any other paperwork relating to the incident.
• BPI reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to provide a monetary refund instead of a replacement.
• BPI also retains full discretion in determining whether any returned Raybestos Brand Brake Product satisfies the condition of the warranty.

This warranty is exclusive of any other warranty, express or implied. BPI EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. The foregoing states BPI's entire and exclusive liability and the buyer’s exclusive and sole remedy for any damages or claims made in connection with the sale of a Raybestos Brand Brake Product. BPI shall in no event be liable for any special, incidental or consequential damages whatsoever, except those specifically provided for in this warranty.
