- Belt
grinder: This is usually used as a machining method to process metals and other
materials, with the aid of coated abrasives. Analogous to a belt sander. Belt
grinding is a versatile process suitable for all kinds of applications,
including finishing, deburring, and stock removal.
- Bench

How To Change Engine Cylinder With Grinding & Abrasive Accessories?
Repairing
engine cylinder using engine cylinder hones is very easy if you have
proper tools. If the cylinder is in normal condition with no damage, and you’re
just changing rings between top ends, honing should be the only thing required.
Place the engine cylinder on the engine stand and make sure the cylinder is
secured and stationary. Apply some engine oil in the cylinder lining
from top to bottom. Attach the engine cylinder hone tool to the drill machine.
Place the tool in the cylinder and start the drill machine. Hone the cylinder
back and forth for about 10 to 15 seconds, then switch to the opposite spinning
direction and repeat. Check the cylinder for the desired cross hatch marks, and
repeat if necessary. If in doubt check the size of the cylinder with a vernier
caliper. After honing is complete, be sure to clean the cylinder thoroughly
until there is no residual material in the cylinder.
