The MSD Street Fire Chevrolet V8 HEI Distributors feature coated pins and welded weight pins (not just pressed in like other models) to enhance the operation of the centrifugal advance in a distributor. The Street Fire distributor by MSD is an excellent solution for budget-conscious enthusiasts. The distributor gear is another area where you cannot afford to cut corners. The Street Fire is equipped with the same equipment as their Pro-Billet variants. This gear's metallurgy has been fine-tuned over time to perform in the most extreme situations. The ignition module and coil work together on the inside to provide a strong spark that ignites the fuel mixture for excellent performance. The high voltage is delivered to the distributor cap's brass terminals and then to the plugs through a new rotor. The Street Fire Distributor is the first of their new value-branded ignition line products.
