The pitman is forged steel to deliver a more substantial component. Problem Solver® powdered-metal gusher bearing design allows the smooth flow of grease that reduces friction and adds better strength and stability. Problem Solver® pressed-in patented cover plate design provides tight tolerance, added durability, and longevity. It features a greaseable socket design for lubrication that reduces corrosion and wear.

Verified Purchase
Installed on a 1991 Ford Ranger with a straight axle swap. It's about 3.8 cm longer than stock and fits a '99 to '02 F250 like a glove. The quality is top-notch. This part was backordered, but it arrived two and a half weeks early, which was a pleasant surprise.

      I'm a big fan of Moog and this part met my high expectations. However, finding the right part was tough because in 2006, Ford decided to use up spare parts, leaving us with four different possible pitman arms for the F-150 pickup. Plus, decoding Ford's overly complex part descriptions added to the challenge!

              I'm a fan of Moog, and this part lived up to their quality reputation. When I bought this, I had a tough time finding the right part because Moog didn't have the correct pitman arm. Back in 2006, Ford decided to use up old parts, resulting in four potential pitman arm choices for the F-150. On top of that mess, you've got to navigate Ford's overly complicated part descriptions!
