Moog Anti-galvanic U-joints are explicitly engineered for lightweight aluminum driveshaft yokes. Aluminum yokes can corrode due to galvanic reactions because of contact between aluminum and steel. The bearing cups on U joints are chemically treated to control the galvanic reaction and corrosion.
