The ideal replacement for any factory or leaky gasket
AmithReviewed in WESTVILLE, NS on December 26, 2023
My '95 2.5L 4cyl Jeep Wrangler had oil leaks at the rear main area of the old gasket and at the front of the oil pan where the bolts meet the timing cover. Swapping it out with this gasket, and voila, no more leaks! I'd really push for anyone with a weeping or leaking oil pan gasket to go for this. Quick heads-up: Don't go all Thor with your oil pan bolts—torque them gently with a torque wrench. My manual says 16.3 newton meters, which is barely anything. Over-tightening is probably why I had leaks in the first place. I fixed the stripped bolts with Heli-coils, but really, just be gentle.
Yes, I recommend this product.
Great fit.

Spot-on replacement for factory or leaking gasket

My 1995 2.5L 4cyl Jeep Wrangler was oozing oil at the rear main part of my old gasket and all along the oil pan's front where it meets the timing cover. Swapping in this new gasket and now I'm leak-free! I'd definitely push this as a must-have for anyone dealing with a seeping or leaking oil pan gasket. Quick tip: Don't even think of tightening your oil pan bolts without a torque wrench! My manual says to set them at 16.2 Newton-meters, which is barely anything. Some of my bolts were stripped, likely the leak culprit. I fixed them up with Heli-coils, but as a word to the wise, don't go ham on them.
Yes, I recommend this product.
