Solid Clutch
GarnierReviewed in LAKE LOUISE, AB on August 6, 2024
This clutch is a huge improvement over the old one. Not sure about others' issues with the throwout bearing—I've had this installed for over 6 months with no problems. It's my daily driver, and I've put around 4800 kilometers on it with new clutch and flywheel, plus 33" mud tires. I can still get the wheels to spin in the first couple of gears. Absolutely no slippage.
Yes, I recommend this product.
Worth Every Penny

I'll always shell out a bit more for Luk clutches. They're top-notch and worth every cent.

Great Kit, Shame About the Bearing

The kit is spot on, but it's a pity they don't include a throw-out bearing from National. The one that came with it is plastic and feels cheap. Everything else is top-notch!

Decent clutch for your cash, no need to stick with stock
P HannaReviewed in MAYERTHORPE, AB on July 31, 2024

It's holding up well so far and feels similar to the original clutch with pedal effort. However, the clutch engagement is smoother and more predictable. Only time will tell how durable it is. My original clutch made it to 222,000 kilometers and still functioned, but was showing its age, so replacing it while the engine was out seemed wise. I opted not to use the provided throwout bearing after hearing mixed reviews, instead picking up an all-steel one from the parts store. Unfortunately, this one's noisy and it sounds like I'll have to replace it soon, which is a bummer. There's a distinct rattle when the car's in neutral and the clutch is disengaged, but it disappears when I press the clutch or drive in gear.
Yes, I recommend this product.
Easy install, an upgrade from stock
GeorgeReviewed in CURRYS CORNER, NS on July 22, 2024
Installation was a breeze, and it's an improvement over the stock part, with an easier clutch pull, etc. The only thing I noticed is that the throw-out bearing is partially plastic instead of steel. Might swap that out down the road.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Mixed Feelings About the Quality
S kuzykReviewed in PREVOST, QC on July 18, 2024
The clutch kit, pressure plate, and pilot bearing seemed well made. The throwout bearing, however, was half plastic and fit the shaft with a lot more play than either the old bearing or the...

Made a Different Choice

I ended up returning this product and got another one that's better suited for the turbo I installed.
