KYBs are the real deal and they last. I've been refurbishing Subarus for resale, and these shocks offer great value for money.
Yes, I recommend this product.
Subie Strut - Good Quality, Easy Navigation
Leo D.Reviewed in REVELSTOKE, BC on May 24, 2024
The product arrived as expected and the strut seems to be of good quality. Installation went smoothly. The website was easy to navigate. My only concern was the strut post protruding from the box, which could've caused damage, but luckily it didn't. Will shop here again.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Noticed improved braking, a smoother ride over bumpy roads, and better handling; it's like my old Legacy is young again!

These struts are a game changer!
F breakspearReviewed in MELFORT, SK on January 15, 2024
These struts are amazing! I've clocked about 1,600 kilometers on them so far. Roads that used to make my car bounce like a pogo stick are now a pleasure to drive. The car's handling is transformed – sharp steering, crisp braking response, and no more waiting for the car to settle after bumps. Installing the rear struts was a breeze for me (on my '97 Legacy L wagon), way easier than the fronts since the spring compressors were a tight fit. Update: As of 67,600 kilometers later, still loving these struts.
Yes, I recommend this product.

These are fantastic! I've put about 1,600 kilometers on them so far. Roads that used to be a nightmare to drive on because my car would bounce all over the place after bumps are now a pleasure. The car handles so much better with these installed - steering and braking are sharp and responsive - I don't have to wait for the car to settle after hitting bumps. I found the rear struts easier to install on my '97 Legacy L wagon because the front springs were too cramped to fit the spring compressors easily. UPDATE 8/26/17: Still in love with these struts, even after 67,592 kilometers.
Yes, I recommend this product.
These struts are a game-changer
BradReviewed in CURRYS CORNER, NS on November 16, 2023
Just slapped some new Michelin Pilot Sport A/S+ tires on the ride, and while they gripped the road alright, that was about it. Felt like a spry young thing in fancy kicks strapped to old, creaky legs. But after I put in these KYB GR-2 struts, my car's got its groove back – it's like night and day. It's responsive and a blast to drive now. Never realized how worn the old ones were – they degraded so slowly. Even though they weren't obviously busted, they were toast. Pulled them out and could move the piston with just my fingers.
Yes, I recommend this product.
It's like my car got a new lease on life with these struts

After slapping on some new Michelin Pilot Sport A/S+ tires, I realized the tires weren't the problem – it was the struts. The KYB GR-2 struts I put in made my car responsive and a blast to drive. I never noticed how worn the old ones were; they weren't leaking, just old. But after taking them out, I could easily move the piston with my fingers, which was definitely not right.
Yes, I recommend this product.
