      The strut assembly carefully controls the weight of the vehicle, checks the ride height, acts as the steering pivot, and controls vehicle stability. It can also cause trouble to the vehicle's electronic crash avoidance systems. The KYB is an OE supplier of such parts and understands the way the vehicle should perform. To get back the original handling and control features, the engineers have developed the KYB Strut-Plus strut assembly.       Not the right match for my 2013 Honda Pilot

      These parts fit my 2013 Honda Pilot perfectly and looked to be of great quality, but there was this weird, deep noise when turning. I tried re-torquing, reinstalling, and even got two alignments, but no luck. Turns out, after some digging online, it might've been the mount bearings. I switched to OEM struts, and just like that, the noise was gone. Might've been a lemon or maybe they're just not cut out for the Pilot. Props to Parts Avatar though, they stepped up and processed a refund.

              Didn't Work Out for My 2013 Honda Pilot

              They fit my 2013 Honda Pilot perfectly and seemed well-made, but there was an unbearable noise when turning.                   Installed two new KYB Complete struts and they're working, but if my car's parked for over an hour, there's an annoying popping sound when I turn the wheel either way. It's a one-time noise until the car sits again. Followed all KYB's advice and even reinstalled the old struts to confirm the noise was from the KYBs. On the flip side, Parts Avatar's customer service is top-notch—5-star treatment. They're ready to replace or refund without any hassle. I'd still recommend shopping with Parts Avatar for parts.
