Kia Rondo Rear Hub Assembly
About Rear Hub Assembly
Wanted to know what really is the function of a hub for the front wheel? This same automotive part used in several cars, passenger vehicles, and light and heavy trucks is a wheel hub assembly (WHA) known as hub assembly, wheel hub unit, wheel hub bearing, etc.
What is the purpose of Rear Hub Assembly?
A mounting hub for the wheel of the vehicle is a mounting hub which holds the wheel of the bearing and protects the lugs. Some new vehicles will also have a wired velocity sensor and ABS sensor. The purpose of the wheel hub is to hold the wheel onto the bearing while connecting to the vehicle. The only component that holds the wheels on the car is the wheel hub, so when installing these parts, it is extremely important to be careful.
Where is Rear Hub Assembly Located?
A wheel is attached to the Engine Hub, between the drums or discs and the drive axle. Depending on the construction the end of the hub is fitted with splined teeth. The axle shaft teeth are matted. The axle hub turns together with the bolted wheels and induces rotation of the wheels. A roller bearing from the hub of the axle to the shaft of the axle ensures swift rotation of non-driven wheels. It is attached to the chassis holding bracket on the axle side and attached to the wheel hub bolts on the disc side
