GATES

Gates 90° Molded Heater Hose easily adapts to the sharp bends in the assemblies. Easing the task of replacing the hoses with existing sharp bends, the 22 sizes handle several applications and are curated to last long as they resist electrochemical degradation and water permeation. It should not be used for fuel or oil transfer applications.

  • Fails to work for conveying fuel or oil
  • Can operate under an extreme temperature ranges of hot and cold: -40°C to +135°C (-40°F to +275°F).
  • SAE 20R3 EC Class D1 under 25mm (1") ID, SAE 20R4 EC Class D1 for 25mm (1") ID or larger
  • Features an EPDM tube, synthetic fiber reinforcement, EPDM cover
  • Couple to hose bead fitting fastened with hose clamps

Would customers pay an extra $1.40 or $2.80 CAD for a hose with two 90-degree elbows on each end? I suspect many would, as most of us end up cutting the hose to fit. I'd pay a couple of extra dollars. The product fits fine, just wishing it had two 90-degree elbows instead of one.
