The classic Purple Hornie tubular design glass pack mufflers give sound and performance gains that are more than impressive - theyre wild! The 16-gauge, 3.5 inch diameter steel shell encloses an interior spiral louver baffle design that increases exhaust velocity while decreasing backpressure, projecting the sound waves into a temperature fiber mat material. Available in an 18 inch case length with 2.250 inch slip-fit or choose from three different styles of 3 three-hole direct-header-mount designs.

I've been using Flowtech Terminator mufflers for about 30 years; they sound just like a C2 Corvette on my car. With a nice idle rumble, loud full-throttle bark (sans H pipe), they're pretty peaceful at cruise speeds with no drumming in the cab and seem to last forever. After adding Doug's electric exhaust cutouts, I craved a more hot rod sound even with the pipes closed, and Purple Hornies delivered! They came recommended as the top choice among glasspack users I trust. Not too loud at idle, and you can control the volume with your throttle. They can scream at high revs or be inconspicuous around cops—it's all about throttle management. They do drone at speed, so maybe not the best for daily drivers, but for a fun hobby car, it's not an issue at all.
