      Fel-Pro automatic transmission pan gasket helps keep the fluid in its place and does not leak, keeping the transmission in good working condition. When the transmission fluid level is low, it causes higher wear and working temperature. The fluid could degrade, causing the transmission to operate incorrectly. Automatic gearboxes won't shift at all. Internal damage to the transmission is possible, demanding transmission replacement.
