Got it for my 2006 Buick Rainier. It was way cheaper than what the shop quoted, like less than half. Didn't need any programming and it's working as expected. Installation was a breeze apart from one tricky bolt, but hey, I'm not as spry as I used to be!

It might deserve a full 5 stars - heck, maybe even a 10. It's tough to judge something just a month after installation, especially as the arrival of spring means I'm not using four-wheel drive as much. The unit fit perfectly and seemed identical to the original GM part I removed. Very happy with the service from Parts Avatar - it came on time. A word of advice for anyone doing this swap and wanting to change the transfer case fluid: make sure you can remove the fill plug before you drain the oil, trust me on this. And let's just say, automotive engineers are a unique breed of smart and... not so smart.

Solved the 4WD Issue on 2002 Olds Bravada

Our 2002 Olds Bravada was stuck in 4WD and 'bucked' badly on dry pavement. This Dorman part sorted it out beautifully – AWD is functioning smoothly again! Just needed to handle 4 x 13mm head bolts and 1 wiring harness plug for the changeover. You could manage with a floor jack and standard sockets, but having a lift helps. The same part was on back order and around $392 CAD at National Auto Parts.
