Dayco upper radiator hose is designed with knitted reinforcement and all EPDM construction for increased strength and resistance to oil, mud, salt, road debris, ozone, coolants, and temperature variations of -40˚F (-40˚C) to +257˚F (+125˚C) that are required for OEM radiator hose replacements. Dayco radiator hose has an inner base tube that is reinforced with knitted rayon for maximum strength and burst resistance for longer life. Besides meeting SAE J20R4, Class D-1 requirements, radiator hose by Dayco is also designed to meet Type EC electrochemical requirements as specified in SAE J168.
Dayco Flex Radiator Hoses are used for a variety of engine types and to replace straight or moulded radiator hoses. Flex Radiator Hose is precision moulded in standard lengths and has a knitted reinforcement to help it resist ozone and other harmful environmental elements and coolants. It also has a helical steel coil spring and grooves to give it excellent flexibility without flattening or collapsing and to stop splitting, ballooning, or elongation.
This hose complies with SAE J20R4, Class D-2 criteria. The temperature range for this hose is -40°C to +100°C (or 212°F to 400°F).
