Radiator Hose is made of rubber and directs the flow of coolant from the water pump to and from the engine and radiator. The two main types of radiator hoses are; upper and lower radiator hose. The tubes are made of synthetic rubber which is durable and offers heat, pressure and vibration resistance. The design of the hoses is varied based on the application. A radiator hose uses a steel spring to prevent deformation and adds to its structural strength.

The upper radiator hose is where the engine radiator enters the hot coolant. In the furnace it circulates and refreshes as it goes. When it reaches the bottom, it passes through the radiator from the lower sleeve and through the engine to reset the loop
How upper radiator hose works?
There are two hoses with radiator open. Through the upper radiator hose, hot coolants are transported from the engine thermostat housing to the radiator inlet. The coolant exits the radiator bottom through the lower radiator hose as the coolant goes through the heat excess and then moves the cooled fluid to the engine.
Where is upper radiator hose located?
The upper radiator hose normally extends from the radiator to the motor unlike the lower radiator hose that is not readily visible.
