How Universal Converter Works?
A catalytic converter is a large metal box that has two pipes coming out of it connected to the underside of the car. Each of them is connected to the engine and emits dry, toxic fumes from the cylinders of engines. Connects the second pipe to the tailpipe. When the gases from the engine exhaust flow over the catalyst, chemical reactions occur on its surface, breaking apart the polluting gases and turning them into other gases that are healthy enough to blast out into the air harmlessly. The catalytic converter is an exhaust emission control device which, by catalyzing a redox reaction, reduces toxic gases and pollutants in exhaust gas from an internal combustion engine into less toxic pollutants. Where is Universal Converter Located?
The catalytic converter is located between the motor and the muffler. The catalytic converter looks very similar to a muffler, but before and after the converter there is an oxygen sensor mounted.
