Castrol GTX is a high-quality conventional motor oil that has been helping to enhance engine life since 1968. Castrol evolved to match or exceed the needs of consumers and vehicle manufacturers and continues to do so.
The sludge can build up because of several factors, including heavy traffic, low fuel quality, extreme driving conditions, and exceeding oil change intervals. The sludge in your engine can clog the vital oilways, destroying the engine's power and ultimately reducing its lifespan if left untreated. GTX Engine oils are specially engineered to prevent the harmful build-up of sludge while protecting against new oil splatter formation. Its double-action formula clears the clogged sludge and prevents new sludge formation. The use of innovative technology and hassle-free functioning makes it a trusted brand even today. Prolong the life of your engine with Castrol GTX.
This multi-grade oil has three grades, i.e., 10W30, 10W40, and 20W50 (W stands for winter). Synthetic 20W-50 grade oil flows as easily as a 20 Weight oil in winter temperatures but is as thick and viscous as a 50 Weight oil once normal engine temperature has been reached. No grades are inferior or superior to the other. Choose the right oil for your vehicle based on two parameters, i.e., the temperature at which you regularly drive and your engine’s recommended oil viscosity grade.
