  • For Stuck-On Emblems - Use a plastic scraper and insert it between the grille and the emblem and gently scrape off the emblem from the tape underneath. This will require a little persistence but should come right off. Alternatively, you can use a heat gun or a hairdryer to heat the surface of the emblem which will warm up the glue and help reduce the effort required to remove it.
  • Once the emblem is off and if the tape is still adhered to the surface of the grille use a plastic scraper to remove all the gunk before installing the new emblem.
  • Now use 3M double-sided tape and stick the emblem in its location. Apply a little pressure to make sure the adhesion is strong.
  • For Emblems with Tabs - These need to be removed from the back of the grill end accessing it requires you to remove the bumper or you could access it from the hood.
  • Pop the hood and remove the radiator cover using a clip tool to unlatch all the clips holding it.
  • If you have direct access to the back of the grille then skip this step, otherwise, remove the hood latch using a ratchet and the appropriate socket for better access.
  • Now using pliers or a plastic pry tool remove the tabs that hold the emblem from the back, avoiding scratching the grille. Save the retaining tabs or clips to use with the new emblem.
  • Now place the new emblem in place and install the tabs or clips. Make sure the emblem is held on securely.
  • Reinstall all other parts and the installation of the grille emblem is complete.
