No slop
DumitrascuReviewed in PREVOST, QC on June 23, 2024

For my 1982 F250 with a 7.5 cm body lift, this took care of the slop in the factory shaft. I had to cut off about 18 cm with a reciprocating saw. I was cautious not to cut too much, but it turned out great. The instructions said to file a new flat on the splined shaft for the set screw, but I just lined it up with the existing groove and it worked like a charm. Fantastic product, no issues.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Good, But Pricey
A. mccormackReviewed in BANCROFT, ON on June 11, 2024
My steering shaft was worn out, and this was the only replacement I could find. It's a bit expensive, and the slip fit was quite tight, but the product looks durable. Ordered on Wednesday and received by Thursday.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Remarkable Improvement

Made an incredible difference in my '89 F-150. It only took 20 minutes to install, though you do need to trim it to fit your specific setup.

Steering Shaft - Quality but Pricey
M. BognerReviewed in BANCROFT, ON on May 26, 2024
It's on the costly side, but the build is top-notch. You'll need a vice and a hack saw, or better yet a sawzall, to cut it to length for your setup.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I was struggling with steering wheel play on my '91 Explorer 4x4. After replacing ball joints and rods with no luck, installing the Borgeson shaft made a big difference. Steering is way better now. Good quality.
Yes, I recommend this product.
