What is a core deposit charge, and how to get it refunded?
In the auto parts world, there are parts that can be recycled or remanufactured and the item you have selected falls under this category. OEM parts are usually the best route. For my '09 DTS with JL9 brakes, this caliper was meant for the J55 brakes, which are a tad larger. Make sure you know your vehicle's trim level details before you order. Although it's listed as compatible with my car, it wasn't a match. Thanks to Papasan's advice, I double-checked with the AC Delco website to get the correct info.

Sealing Washers Too Big, Causing Leaks

The copper sealing washers were too big and caused leaks, so I had to grind them down. The anti-vibration clips were identical when there should be one for the top and a reversed one for the bottom, had to reuse one of the old clips.

It fits a 2005 Duramax 2500HD. The caliper is remanufactured and comes with the bracket, new slide bolts, stainless anti-rattle clips/slides, and all the rubber seals. Also comes with new crush washers for the banjo bolt, but not the banjo bolt itself. It's packaged in an AC Delco box and a plastic bag, but it's not painted or coated to prevent rust once installed.
