          Installing these was a piece of cake. Just pop off the ball clamp from each end of the old strut with a flathead screwdriver, and it's a good idea to have a buddy hold the trunk lid open for you. You can manage it solo, but it's a stretch. The new strut clicks into place with just a light push, and once one's on, it'll keep the lid up for you to swap the second one. Heads up: closing the trunk needs a bit more oomph the first few times until things loosen up. And when opening, hold onto that lid or it might just rocket open and stress the hinges. These replaced the original struts on my 2004 Grand Prix, and I'm still getting the hang of the new opening and closing force.
